Ahead of the Adobe Max event taking place later today, where the company will announce new products and features, the Photoshop application is now available in the App Store for iPad.
It was announced last year that Adobe would be bringing the fully-featured, desktop version of Photoshop to iPad. The currently available version, which you can find by searching “Adobe Photoshop” in the App Store, has the core creating and retouching tools, with full PSD compatibility and all the standard layer tools.
Adobe says that they plan on “looking at enhancing tools for brushes, masks, refining wedges and selecting smart objects please. Further updates will continue to come to the app.
Photoshop is only compatible with iPadOS 13 or later and with all generations of iPad Pro, iPad 5th gen or later, iPad Air 2 and 3, and the Mini 4 and 5. It also works with both generations of Apple Pencil, for refined control.
