Just this week, Apple has begun selling its Powerbeats Pro sporty, wireless headphones in 4 new colors: Spring Yellow, Lava Red, Cloud Pink, and Glacier Blue. These cost the same as the other colors, and don’t include any extra special features.
Powerbeats Pro were released last year, and feature 9 hours of listening time per earbud, 5-minute Fast Fuel charging which gives you 1.5 hours of battery life, sweat and water resistance, and Apple’s special H1 headphone chip. They cost $249.95, but have gone on sale a few times for $199.95.
Compared to equally-priced AirPods Pro, these are a good alternative with comparable or even better features, especially when it comes to battery: you get an extra 30 minutes of listening for the same charge time, and double the total listening time. However, they don’t feature noise cancellation or transparency mode, and the charging case doesn’t include wireless charging.
Personally, while I wouldn’t go with one of them, I like the addition of colors and think they look pretty good. What do you think? What color would you go with? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments!
