Apple Music

Apple Music is Apple’s own music-streaming service and competes with services such as Spotify, YouTube Music and Amazon Music. It was first launched in June 2015 and has over 60 million songs available to subscribers.

The service supports offline downloads, song-based radio stations and can also sync with your existing music library, so you can listen to music you’ve previously purchased.

New subscribers get three-months free with the standard plan costing $9.99 a month afterwards. A family plan costs $14.99 a month and requires Family Sharing.

Apple Music is available in over 100 regions and countries and on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, CarPlay and Apple Watch. You can also download iTunes for Windows, stream music from the web version (currently in beta) and on Android devices with the Music app. The service also works on Amazon Echo and Sonos speakers and some models of Samsung TVs.
