Apple offers free AirPods with Mac or iPad for College

Apple has started offering free AirPods when college students buy select Mac or iPad devices. The included AirPods are the regular AirPods with Charging Case, but you can upgrade it to a wireless charging case for an additional $40, or AirPods Pro for an additional $90. Or, you can also select no free AirPods, but why not take advantage of the offer if you’re eligible?

Students also get up to $400 off Macs, discounted configuration upgrades, up to $100 off iPads, 20% off AppleCare+, and discounts on accessories like Apple Pencil.

This offer is eligible for iMac, iMac Pro, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPad Pro and iPad Air. This offer is available at apple.com, US Apple Stores, 1-800-MY-APPLE, and Apple Authorized Campus Stores. You can even use Apple’s recently released Apple Card Monthly Installments, but some additional terms apply if you’re taking advantage of the free AirPods offer.

While it might seem this offer is only available to students, it’s also open to parents of college students buying on their behalf, and K-12 and Higher Education faculty or staff.
