Apple has released two new software updates for all recent models of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, namely iOS 12.4.2 and iOS 13.1.1.
iOS 12.4.2 is available for older devices that cannot run the new software. It fixes a vulnerability discovered by Google’s Project Zero that allowed a hacker to gain remote access to your device. watchOS 5.3.2 is also on par with this update and addresses the same problem.
In addition to this, iOS 13.1.1 fixes numerous issues with battery drain, restores, and Siri recognition. A major security flaw that allowed third-party keyboards full access to your information has also been patched. iPadOS 13.1.1 is also available, less than a week after release.
