Apple releases iOS 13.6 GM build to developers, stable release soon

Alongside the first public betas of iOS and iPadOS 14, Apple has released the Gold Master version of iOS 13.6 to developers. iOS 13.6 comes with improvements to downloading updates, CarKey support and News+ Audio content.

In Settings > General > Software Update, Apple has added more options to customise how software updates are downloaded and installed. You can choose to automatically install and download updates, or select only one of the two to automatically process.

To install this beta, head to Settings > General > Software Update and tap ‘Download & Install’ under the iOS 13.6 heading. There will be no beta version number as this build is a GM.

CarKey, announced with iOS 14 but also coming to devices that support iOS 13.6, will act as a digital car key and let you unlock your car with your iPhone, start it and share a car key with other people.

We can expect the stable release in the next week or two, with minor updates following after that.
