Apple To Raise App Store Prices in Brazil and India

Apple will increase App Store prices in Brazil, India, Colombia, Indonesia, Russia and South Africa to take into account foreign exchange rates and changes to tax.

The updated pricing reflects an equalisation levy of 2% in India and new value-added tax of 10% for developers based outside of Indonesia.

Prices of apps and in-app purchases will increase in the coming days, but auto-renewable subscriptions won’t be affected, Apple has confirmed.
