Here’s how to change the Instagram app icon using this Easter egg

Instagram is letting you change its app icon to celebrate its birthday this month. The feature, which requires a few hidden actions, was revealed by Instagram with a tweet earlier today.

To change the icon, tap your profile, the three lines menu and tap Settings. Swipe down from the top (like you’re refreshing the page) and you’ll see multiple emojis. Keep swiping until a confetti animation appears and the page opens.

You’ll see options to change the icon from the current one, which was introduced on 11th May 2016, to the ‘classic’ and original logos.

It’s not clear if this is feature that will stay or be a limited-time exclusive.
