Here’s how you can watch “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” for free

As we reported earlier this month, Apple TV+ is becoming the home for all things Peanuts, which also means the holiday specials won’t be on TV as usual this year— which has sparked outrage, even getting its own petition with over 200,000 signers.

There’s a bit of good news, though. You’ll be able to watch the holiday specials for free on Apple TV+ during limited 3-day viewing windows. “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” for example, is available free from today to November 1st without ads.

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be coming to Apple TV+ on November 18th, with a free viewing window from November 25th to 27th. Similarly, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be coming to Apple TV+ on December 4th, with a viewing window from December 11th to 13th.

So, how do you watch it for free? Apple TV+ is available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung, LG, Sony and VIZIO smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices, and at tv.apple.com.

Apple TV+ is normally $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial. For a limited time, customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch can enjoy one year of Apple TV+ for free. This special offer is good for three months after the first activation of the eligible device.
