Leak reveals Galaxy Buds Live – Samsung’s AirPods competitors

An update to the Galaxy Buds Companion app for iOS has revealed most details about Samsung’s unreleased Galaxy Buds Live wireless earphones. The earphones have already been leaked in images earlier this year.

The app features a guide on the features of the Buds Live, and how to wear them. It also reveals that they’ll support active noise cancellation (ANC) like the AirPods Pro. Many other options, including ‘Find My Earbuds’ and sound equalisation, are standard.

The Galaxy Buds Live are certainly a take on Apple’s AirPods and AirPods Pro. With many of the same features and at a cheaper price, they certainly look promising. It’s now up to Samsung to actually release them – and for reviewers to confirm the quality of them.

Our Take

WinFuture has also confirmed that the Galaxy Buds Live will be priced at $169 and have an estimated 4.5 hours of battery life. Further specs may include 3 microphones and 12mm drivers.

Samsung will likely announce the new Galaxy Buds at their Unpacked event where they will unveil the Note 20 lineup.
