macOS 10.15.5 Supplemental Update arrives alongside 10.15.6 beta 1

Apple has released a supplemental update for macOS 10.15.5 that contains important security fixes. It’s available alongside the first beta of macOS 10.15.6 for developers.

The macOS 10.15.15 Supplemental Update includes a similar patch to that of iOS 13.5.1, with relation to the unc0ver jailbreak. No other information is available regarding what’s been fixed.

Kernel

Available for: iPhone 6s and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch 7th generation

Impact: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges

Description: A memory consumption issue was addressed with improved memory handling.

CVE-2020-9859: unc0ver

macOS 10.15.6 beta 1 probably contains the same fix, alongside other performance and security improvements. The final release of this version is due in June or July, when the first betas of iOS 14 are made available.
