Samsung announces new Galaxy Note 20 lineup and more

Yesterday Samsung officially announced their new Note 20 lineup, which includes the Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra. They also revealed the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Buds Live.

The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra

The Note 20 series, which is the successor to to the Note 10 series, includes 8K video recording, 120Hz refresh rate and optional 5G capabilities. They also both include much larger batteries.

As the Note lineup is branded as Samsung’s more artistic phone, the new S Pen has had major improvements, with its latency being reduced by 40%. Plus the new 120Hz display, this means it will be more responsive and will feel much smoother than previous S Pens.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2

Alongside the new Note 20 phones, Samsung have also released the next folding phone – the Galaxy Z Fold 2. This features two edge to edge hole punch displays. Both displays feature edge to edge hole punch designs – one 6.2” and one 7.6” display. The foldable screen is now made of the same ultra thin glass as the Z flip, rather than the plastic screen the original foldable sported.

The Note 20 lineup starts at £849 and can be pre ordered from the Samsung website. The Z Fold 2 is currently only available to be reserved and the price has not be released.
