iCloud

iCloud is Apple’s cloud storage service for customers with an Apple ID. It launched in October 2012 and comes with 5GB of free storage to allow users to store documents, photos, music and device backups online, instead of taking up space on their device.

The service allows files, purchases and apps to sync across all Apple operating systems and ensures customers can track, lock or erase a device when it’s lost or stolen with Find My.

iCloud is built in on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Watch and iPod touch but is also available as a separate download for Windows. It also includes web apps, such as Pages, Numbers and Reminders which can be used through a web browser.

iCloud storage plans start at $0.99/month for 50GB, $2.99 for 200GB and $9.99 for 2TB.
