iPhone SE debuting ‘soon’ in India, but with higher price tag

Indian e-commerce website Flipkart has suggested that the new iPhone SE could be released in the country in the coming days or weeks.

The site’s app was updated to reveal a poster teasing the launch of the device and lets users receive a notification when it will become available. The SE launched elsewhere on April 24th, with an announcement a week before.

However, it could be up to 40% more expensive, at RS 42,500, which equates to $562 USD. Apple hasn’t confirmed the release but it’s quite likely as the iPhone SE is expected to be very popular with high demand for it.
